No, god, I donât think anyone thought in those terms back then. When I joined the show Iâd just come out of
The Flying Doctors â Iâd joined that as an actor, and saw the demise of that almost immediately. I spent many sleepless nights wondering if it was me. But some of the people at the network in Melbourne said weâre doing this new show, a travel show, would you be interested? At that point I thought Iâll do anything if I continue to get a pay cheque. I was just keen for anything that might go for another year, let alone 30.
