Jerry and Janice Harris returned home safely from their trip to a motorcycle event this week. I believe that was in Hatfield. I am very thankful that my husband Carl took vacation time off from work this week. We had planned to attend the Kenneth Copeland Ministry Conference in Lake Worth, Texas this week. But since the cold came in so harsh, we decided to stay home and keep the fire burning so the dogs would not have to stay out in the extreme cold and we could prevent water pipes from freezing up and breaking while we were gone. Church at Restoration Life was cancelled for last Sunday due to the extreme cold. Hopefully, Wednesday night and next Sunday the weather will warm up!
Lots of activity going on, due to the Holiday being in the middle of this week. The Community Thanksgiving Service will be held tonight, Nov, 21, at Restoration Life Fellowship. Brother Collie will be the speaker. I am looking forward to hearing him speak. Many of the ladies are preparing food for the fellowship that will be enjoyed after the services. The Boyce Hankins family is preparing for their children and grandchildren to spend some time with them on Thanksgiving Day. They were thoughtful enough to invite Carl and me to join them.
