Safe Restart Agreement funding announced for the Huron-Bruce riding Dec. 18 will help municipalities avoid deficits caused by COVID-19 expenses.
It’s part of $695 million set aside across the province, building on the first phase of the federal-provincial Safe Restart Agreement announced this summer.

“The money will help municipal councils in Huron-Bruce to develop a 2021 budget that reflects the reality of COVID-19 and give them the confidence they need to proceed with capital projects that will drive economic growth,” Huron-Bruce MPP Lisa Thompson said in a news release.
