The volunteers and Board of Directors of the Mighty Mitt Parkinson’s Movement Center (MMPMC) are pleased to announce it has received a $27,000 grant from the Midland Community Foundation’s Midland County COVID-19 Response/Disaster Relief Fund. The grant will help cover the operational cost of programs and resources serving those with Parkinson’s.
“Many of our clients experiencing care disruption and economic impacts due to COVID-19, and we have transitioned what we can to a virtual setting, providing supplies and equipment for in home care,” said Mighty Mitt President and CEO Joan Billingsley. “The grant from the Midland Community Foundation will allow our programs to continue to serve one of our most vulnerable community members during this critical time.”

Creative 360 announces with gratitude that it has received a $28,000 Revenue Disruption Grant from the Midland Area Community Foundation and the Midland County COVID-19 Response/Disaster Relief Fund. These funds, which were awarded under the focus area “Enriching Our Community, will be used to support the arts center and its programming at 1517 Bayliss St.
The Revenue Disruption Grant opportunity was offered to organizations that have experienced a disruption to their pre-pandemic revenue streams due to the direct impact of COVID-19.
