BANGKOK (The Nation/Asia News Network): Rallies are being held in eight areas across Bangkok on Monday (May 30), as activists return to the streets to protest punishments under the Section 112 lese majeste law, and other issues.

Police on Monday night arrested two adolescents who threw explosives at a traffic police kiosk at Asok-Din Daeng intersection, and seized numerous ping-pong bombs and similar items, Metropolitan Police Bureau spokesman Pol Maj Gen Jirasant Kaewsaeng-ek said.
