Terminator: Resistance Enhanced is not a good game, which may or may not come as a surprise to you. First released at the tail end of 2019, this first-person shooter set during the grimdark Future War received aggressively middling reviews. Since then, it has found a cult following large enough to warrant a next-gen re-release, but nothing has actually been done to improve the game s explosive mediocrity.
It looks good on the PlayStation 5, or at least the environments do. The bombed-down greys of an annihilated America look crisp, dirty, and interesting. The characters still wander off towards the uncanny valley from time to time, especially their speaking and walking animations that make you suspect if they’re actually human. Still, the look of the game is not the issue here. Rather, Terminator Resistance Enhanced is a game stitched together by large and small issues that overwhelm any sense of place or excitement it tries to invoke.
Terminator: Resistance s Free PS4 to PS5 Upgrade May Not Be Available at Launch

After a short delay earlier in the year, Terminator: Resistance Enhanced is slated to launch on PlayStation 5 from 30th April, and there’ll be a
free PS4 to PS5 upgrade for those who already own the game. However, there may yet be a catch, as publisher Reef Entertainment has warned that the upgrade may not be available on launch day as planned.
“As Terminator: Resistance Enhanced was developed after the release of the PS4 version, we have recently been informed that there is some additional work that needs to be done on Sony’s side to ensure that the upgrades from PS4 to PS5 happen smoothly,” a statement on the game’s website reveals.

The plans for free PS5 upgrades for Terminator: Resistance Enhanced have seemingly hit a bit of a snag, with publisher Reef Entertainment and developer Teyon explaining that the Enhanced edition upgrades from PS4 may not be available at its launch on 30th April 2021.
Don’t worry, though. The free upgrades are still happening, they might just be delayed.
