Theyre going from one building to the other. The picture thats emerging about the attack is that it has been a very well prepared and planned attacks. There were three suicide bombers according to police and also two attackers were with who carrying rifles. One of them went into the star bucks cafe and then the other went to the small police post and then the other one was around the area. It was all in the same area, but with all these people on the ground with their weapons, they managed to create a lot of destruction and a lot of deaths. The police has been saying that they got this intelligence information that was coming they say from i. S. I. L. Talking about a concert and apparently according to the police spokesman, this means that if theyre talking about a concert, this means that an attack is upcoming. Im not sure whether the details know the details of this attack, but it seems that they had of this morning information that something was coming up. What happened today, there
Parody largely a Nuclear Capability and i think that in the current context with american superiority and everything but Nuclear Weapons, i think that its not likely to, you know, symmetrical reductions in nuclear arms will not achieve symmetry and security on the two side. And so that a dangerous path to try and go down if you believe that both sides feel insecure as the recipe for a stable relat n relationship. I do think that unilateral reductions could be sold on the grounds that, you know, we sell lots of we act unilaterally in a lot of ways. And we have certain financial constraint. We might want to invest those resources somewhere else. In other words in a cold war context where youre not investing in cybersecurity or other types of threats that are present and real and out there. It is a luxury to have a second strike capability. Why, if you have a finite defense budget, would you allocate resources to something that is based on a fantasy thats not likely to obtain, which is th
Any Missile Defense. Missile defense is likely a filter for other countries with lower level capability. Your homemade hamas rockets being defeated by iron dome. It is not for the type of weapons that the United States and russia are likely to have. So in that sense, its not destabilizing. Youre absolutely right that if it could prevent what we call limited offensive capability, or effective offensive effective capability, then it is very destabilizing. Russia and the United States would no longer have a deterrent. It would simply be in the realm of simple conventional weaponry. Thats in a world of insecurity as it was in the past. So that, i think, is not likely to happen. But its going to filter out the irans, north koreas, things that are real threats to the United States and potentially similar threat. Com which tracked the construction of jefferson street and provided a blog that updated the neighborhood on all the construction and meetings and we partnered dpw that year to hold a Ribbon Cutting event for the street opening so just kind of in conclusion we continue our vision, remain on track with our Management Plan with emphasis being on funding for phase ii of jefferson street, district cleanliness and safety, beautifying and embellishing the district, adding additional signage that supports our district branding, planning to end homelessness, planning to make the district prepared for emergencies and improving transportation. What attracted you to apply for this special program . Who would not want to come to the dump . But is the first question. For me, being in a situation that youre not comfortable in has always been the best. What materials were you immediately attracted to when you started and so what was available here . There are a lot of books. That is one of the thing that hits me the most. Books are good for understanding, language, and art in general. Also being a graphic designer, going straight to the magazines and seeing all this printed material being discarded has also been part of my work. Of course, always wood or any kind of plastic form or anything like that. Job mr. Some of the pieces you have made while you have been here. Taught me through some of the pieces you have made while you have been here. The first thing that attracted me to this was the printed surface. It was actually a poster. It was a silk screen watercolor, about 8 feet long. In terms of the flatwork, i work with a lot o
