Bangladesh Ansar and VDP finished top in the ongoing Bangabandhu Bangladesh Games on Friday as they achieved 125 gold medals in the ninth edition of the competition.
Ansar also retained the top spot in the medal tally as they earned a total of 262 medals including 125 gold medals, 80 silver medals and 57 bronze medals.
Bangladesh Army and Bangladesh Navy are respectively in second and third place with earning 107 and 63 gold medals respectively.
On Friday, nine new national records were made in the men’s and women’s categories on the fourth and last day of weightlifting at the Mymensingh district gymnasium.
