India News: The Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) raided former Jammu & Kashmir lieutenant governor Satya Pal Malik's house in Delhi in connection with the Kiru hydropower project corruption case.
The CBI has conducted searches at eight locations in Delhi and Jammu in connection with alleged corruption in awarding of civil works worth Rs 2,200 crore of the Kiru Hydro Electric Power Project. Satya Pal Malik, former governor of Jammu and Kashmir, claimed to have been offered a Rs 300-crore bribe for clearing two files related to the project.
