New Nintendo Rumor Potentially Sheds Light on Nintendo Switch Pro
✖
A new rumor has potentially shed some light on the Super Nintendo Switch or, as it s sometimes called, the Nintendo Switch Pro. While there have been plenty of rumors and leaks in the past suggesting the existence of a new and more powerful Nintendo Switch for well over a year, these rumors and leaks haven t materialized into anything concrete or official since then. Unfortunately, that has not changed, but a new rumor has surfaced with a slew of details on the rumored piece of hardware.
The newest rumor comes the way of a couple of verified insiders over on ResetEra who claim that the new Nintendo Switch is basically a PS4 with DLSS and a better CPU. In other words, it won t take Nintendo gaming to PS5 and Xbox Series X levels, but it will be somewhere between this new generation of gaming and the last generation of gaming.
Something is up with the Astral Chain IP, but PlatinumGames can t say.
Astral Chain was one of the sleeper hits from 2019. It’s a great game full of weird moments, but that’s exactly what you might expect from its director Takahisa Taura who previously designed and worked on
Nier: Automata. Apparently despite what you may have read or seen before,
Astral Chain is now exclusively a Nintendo IP.
Astral Chain has been a Switch exclusive ever since it came out, but, as reported by VGC, PlatinumGames expressed interest in porting it over to other consoles. It seems like that will be highly unlikely now that Platinum no longer owns the property.
PlayStation is reportedly losing one of its biggest exclusive games this year. Last year was a big year for PS4 exclusives. For example, Ghost of Tsushima, The Last of Us Part II, and Persona 5 Royal all released just last year. Final Fantasy VII Remake also released last year as a PS4 [.]

✖
A new PS5 DualSense controller malfunction has been discovered, and it has left PlayStation players quite angry. Buying the PS5 ahead of Christmas has proved to be a daunting task for many, and it looks like PS5 restocks are slowing down until 2021. That said, even if you managed to get your hands on the elusive machine, a supposed malfunction with its fancy new controller may still spoil the good times. Since the PS5 released back in November, there have been multiple reports about issues with the piece of next-gen hardware, but thankfully it looks like these issues range from uncommon to not very serious.
