No appointments will be required at two vaccine clinics opening this week in Cambridge.
City residents can get the one-shot Johnson & Johnson COVID-19 vaccine at the walk-up sites, which are free and open to all individuals 18 years old or older who live or work in Cambridge. No insurance, ID, or social security number is required to get a shot.
“Getting a vaccine will NOT affect a public charge determination or immigration status,” the city said in a statement.
The clinics are being hosted on the second floor of the Cambridgeside Mall in East Cambridge and at Reservoir Church in North Cambridge.
