Soooooo fancy. Lincoln
The 2021 Lincoln Navigator grows a little classier, should buyers choose the newly revealed Black Label special edition package. Ford s luxury division said on Thursday it s the first time it plans to offer a special edition for the Black Label trim, which is already a lot of luxury crammed in. The good news is it looks pretty great at that.
The special edition builds on the Navigator lower-tier trim, the Reserve Monochromatic Package, and brings the black and white goods to the top tier of the SUV. The SUV gains a black-painted roof, while other parts also provide black contrast. The 22-inch wheels, mesh grille and side mirror caps all feature black. While the effect is best suited for a white body color,
Nothing like some added flare.
The recent arrival of the all-new Cadillac Escalade has forced Lincoln to respond. Though we expect a mid-cycle facelift to happen for the 2022 model year, Ford s luxury brand isn t backing down for 2021. Introducing the Lincoln Navigator Black Label Special Edition Package. We originally caught wind of its existence in September and now we have full details.
Available on both regular and the long-bodied version, the Navigator L, this new monochromatic-inspired Black Label Package is a first for customers and offers them a new level of customization on the flagship SUV. Building on the success of the Reserve Monochromatic Package, this latest one features a specially painted black roof and monochromatic black accents on the mesh grille, 22-inch, 12-spoke aluminum wheels, sideview mirror caps, and spoiler.
Lincoln has just tied its Black Label name to a new special edition package, making it available for the 2021 Navigator starting next spring.
Building on the success of the Reserve Monochromatic Package, it adds a black mesh grille, black painted roof, black side mirror casings and spoiler, and 22-inch black aluminum wheels, with a 12-spoke pattern.
“The unique black roof coupled with additional monochromatic elements emphasize the strong lines of the Navigator, giving it an even more dramatic look and greater presence on the road”, said the brand’s exterior chief designer, Earl Lucas. “Black is a great partner to almost any color, providing a brighter appearance and more contrast – this makes the Navigator really stand out.”

The GM full-size luxury SUV has never been a more tempting proposition, and even though the current generation of the Navigator isn t that old - it was introduced only two years ago - it s enough to make it feel just a tiny bit outdated.
Still, passions run high around these models, and you re probably more likely to see Vladimir Putin running for U.S. presidency than to witness a lifetime Navigator owner switch to Escalade. But these two aren t exactly alone: Jeep is preparing the Wagoneer and, if you re willing to sacrifice a bit of space, there are also a few European options as well, such as the Mercedes-Benz GLS-Class or the BMW X7.
