Within the next half hour the leader of the house of Commons Andrea leadsom will be presenting the results of a cross Party Investigation into Sexual Harassment at westminster. Well be taking you there live when it starts, but first the findings show that nearly a fifth of people working in parliament have experienced or witnessed Sexual Harassment in the past 12 months. And the report recommends a new code of conduct and compulsory training to help mps understand and prevent harassment. The review was set up last year after several harassment claims against mps and staff. Our assistant Political Editor norman smith is at westminster. Our main story is the bank of englands view that Interest Rates will probably rise earlier than expected because of strong growth in the global economy. The key lending rate has been left unchanged at half of one per cent. But the banks governor, mark carney, said that increasing growth in the year ahead meant that action would be needed to control inflation. The pound surged leapt in value against the dollar, as our economics correspondent andy verity reports. Says crews found a plane window and some other debris on the French Island in the indian ocean just a week after finding a wing from that plane. It disappeared in march 2014. So far french investigators havent yet confirmed the debris is linked to the flight 370. Later this morning governor jerry brown will meet with firefighters battling the rocky fire near clearlake. He will get a briefing from fire officials on their efforts to contain the blaze. The largest wildfire burning in california. Its burned close to 70,000 acres. Its only 30 contained. The fire has destroyed 43 homes and its threatening about 7,000 structures. The Air National Guard is helping fight the rocky fire. They are using c130 cargo planes. The mission for the pilots is straightforward. Refuel, drop a load of retardant, repeat. It gets tiring after a while with the heat and everything. But got a lot of folks out here helping us out.
