How to choose the best fan for your bedroom
By and large, there are four kinds of fan. Desk fans are usually the smallest and can fit on a shelf or bedside table to keep you cool at reasonably close range. Pedestal fans place the fan at the top of a tall stand, and are designed to keep a larger area, or even the whole room, cool. Tower fans aim to do much the same job, but within a smaller cylindrical or column package that takes up the minimum space. Finally, floor fans are basically larger desktop fans that sit on or close to the floor and blast air out at a slight upwards angle.
