Candidates in the state had a deadline of 5 p.m. Monday to request a recount of the Nov. 8 election results, and 31 took advantage of it. Twenty-eight were for New Hampshire House races, two for state Senate, and another for Hillsborough County register of deeds.Â
The Republicans’ narrow majority in the New Hampshire House of Representative just got a bit smaller, with a Tuesday recount flipping the Coos District 7 seat from a Republican to a Democrat.
