Taipei, Dec. 21 (CNA) Consular services at the Republic of China (Taiwan) Embassy in Paraguay remain unchanged after one member of staff was confirmed as having contracted COVID-19, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs said on Monday.
The embassy employee tested positive for the coronavirus after displaying mild cold symptoms, the ministry said in a statement, adding that COVID-19 tests have been arranged for everyone who came into contact with the individual, who is currently isolated at home and in a stable condition.
Under Paraguay s epidemic control regulations, everyone who came into contact with the individual has been asked to self-isolate and work from home, while the remaining staff will work in separate offices and wear surgical face masks at all times, the ministry said.
