Governor Charlie Baker is sending the landmark police reform bill back to the legislature, with amendments. Baker says he s broadly supporting key aspects of the reform bill, like an independent commission to certify and de-certify police officers, but is asking the legislature to change some aspects of it, such which state office in charge of police training.
