LA CROSSE, Wis. (WKBT) – A group of people protested Biden’s infrastructure plan pitch while he was in La Crosse. They say the president’s bill is not a good idea and that it will impact people trying to prosper throughout the country. They claim the bill is going to raise taxes even higher and cost people jobs, and that very little of what’s in the bill is actually covering infrastructure. “The worry is taxing people and just burdening the population the heavy taxes, burdening families and taking money away from their hard-earned dollars to support their own families and their own community going to a pork-laden federal government,” Americans for Prosperity-La Crosse volunteer Laurie Abeyta said.
