  Tripoli, 10 June 2021(Lana) EU Ambassador in Libya José Sabadell said rule of law and rebuilding people’s trust in state security institutions will be essential elements in rebuilding Libya. This came at an event in Tripoli during which GNU Minister of Interior Khaled Mazen,  and EU Ambassador to Libya José Sabadell and UNDP Resident Representative Gerardo Noto inaugurated the model police station in Hay Al Andalus, a quarter of the capital. The Hay Al Andalus model police station is to set new standards in policing in Libya, Sabadell said. ‘The police station in Hay Al Andalus is one of Tripoli’s largest police stations, serving more than 300,000 people, and over the past two years, the station has been substantially renovated, refurbished and newly equipped, the EU Mission said on its SMS page.
