hillary clinton is weighing in on the controversy surrounding donald trump and immigration. during her first national interview since launching her 2016 white house campaign clinton gave her reaction after trump called mexican immigrants criminals. i m very disappointed in those comments and i feel very bad and very disappointed with him and with the republican party for not responding immediately and saying enough stop it. joining me now, new york times political reporter nick and editor of the boston globe. let s start with you sheri. when you hear hillary clinton give those comments. a lot of people were waiting to hear from her in this format. what do you make of it? i think it s interesting because in a way she s using the
increase taxes. then they play the game yesterday, this increase income tax will only last for three years. it will expire after three years. the business tax, that will expire after one year. like, seriously, right. did anybody believe that. once they get their hands on your money, they are ever going to willingly give it back, never, it doesn t happen. never, i mean never, it doesn t happen, except it did happen in new jersey. in 2009 the state temporarily asked families making over $400,000 a year to pay slightly more in income tax and it raised about a billion dollars in 2010 that would probably sound pretty nice to a guy facing a shortfall of $2 billion. maybe governor christie would be more amenable to the idea if he thought of it as a temporary tax bridge funding if you will. joining me now, new york times political reporter nick confess sorry. i don t want too rain on his

co-founder of flashpoint and our panel for the hour new york times political reporter nick and jennifer, bloomberg s white house correspondent. thank you, all, for being here. i ll go to you first because i want to get your reaction to the news that we have reported out over the last couple minutes here. so, i mean, what we re seeing yesterday in barcelona. we saw that a more complicated, more complex plot has unfolded connecting three different scenes, three different types of attacks essentially to the same cell. reports suggested that it was maybe one, two people. but as the events unfolded we saw it is connected to an explosion and we saw it s connected to the resort right after. and, so, obviously, a manhunt for one of the suspects who is still on the loose. but five people including the one, that s six. it makes it a little bit more complicated. obviously, we still don t know whether these individuals were connected to isis and this was
