Russia launched a record 90 Shahed-type drones over Ukraine during the early hours of the new year, the Ukrainian air force said on Monday, while Russia also reported attacks.
Ukraine has been intensifying attacks against the Russian military, logistics, and other high-profile targets in rear areas in occupied Ukraine and Russia, the U.S.-based think tank Institute for the Study of War (ISW) said in its latest assessment on Nov. 12.
Ukrainian pilots were reported to have launched several Storm Shadow missiles at the Russian-occupied port city of Sevastopol Wednesday, damaging a landing ship and a submarine.
"This is a significant blow to the (Russian) Black Sea Fleet, which previously relocated most of its units to Novorossiysk due to the high threat to Sevastopol," the ministry added.
New York will deploy shark-monitoring drones on its beaches following a recent series of reported attacks. Gov.
