well, i m conscious that people do want to make sure that the report is published. the government has said that we intend to publish the full findings of that report, at the same time as the pm said it s entirely right for the police who ve chosen to investigate these matters i hope when they conclude their investigations, that will provide welcome clarity. but given the ongoing investigation that s been started by the police, it is not appropriate for me to comment any further. and it s not in my hands of when the sue gray report will be published, but i m confident that will be done at the earliest opportunity. so at the moment, we re in a very processy phase. when, what, and how? but as soon as that report lands and the prime minister responds to it, we ll then be in a deeply political phase, because that is when the majority of conservative mps will make up their mind about the prime minister s judgment and his position.
high stakes stuff. this is a big political moment and it will be fascinating to see what impact it has on borisjohnson s position as prime minister. has on boris johnson s position as prime minister. has on boris johnson s position as prime minister. thank you. we will be back with prime minister. thank you. we will be back with you prime minister. thank you. we will be back with you as prime minister. thank you. we will be back with you as soon prime minister. thank you. we will be back with you as soon as - prime minister. thank you. we will be back with you as soon as the - be back with you as soon as the report lines. thank you very much. the report lands. so we ve been hearing a lot about sue gray the senior civil servant who s carried out this investigation. bbc northern ireland political correspondent gareth gordon has interviewed her in the past and has this profile of the woman investigating downing street. they used to call sue gray the most powerful civil serva

little anxious. yeah the question that everybody has is where does mueller s report land. does it land only in the offices of the attorney general or the acting attorney general? and is it the discretion of the attorney general to decide whether to move forward with the report to share the contents with anyone else. or is this report also going to be handed over to the relevant over sight committee of congress. in which case we could expect a much more thorough discussion. of what s in them and decision on whether there s any basis in the documents and the report. for the opening of impeachment proceedings. that s the question everybody is asking. it will be a function of where that report lands and whether it sees the light of day. thank you. now to a new move by the trump administration. to try to force nicholas from
global affairs analyst aaron david miller, also a friend of jamal khashoggi. great to see you. thanks for coming in. you, too, kate. let s assume that the cia report lands on the president s desk, and let s assume it says the crown prince ordered jamal khashoggi s murder. what do you think the president is going to do about it? what you have seen already is more or less what you re going to get. we stopped refueling the 20% of saudi aircraft that are flying coalition missions over yemen. we imposed sanctions on 17 individuals. most of whom were responsible for what is clearly a premeditated and willful hit. i suspect unless the agency report can produce audible, some confirmation that in fact there is a conversation, one way or two way, which basically has the crown prince demonstrating foreknowledge or orchestration of the killing or a mission
