An engineering sample of what seems to be an AMD Ryzen 7 5700G Cezanne Zen 3 APU has leaked on Chinese site QQ along with some initial CPU-Z numbers. These numbers show the Ryzen 7 5700G ES displaying considerable gains in single and multi-thread scores over the Ryzen 7 3700X and the Ryzen 7 4700G.

Apart from being available for laptops, AMD APUs often make their way to desktop PCs as well. Last year, AMD announced Renoir APUs for desktop, but they were limited only to OEMs. AMD will be launching the new Ryzen 5000 APUs codenamed Cezanne and Lucienne for laptops at CES 2021, but we are now getting to see an early look at the first desktop Ryzen 5000 APU, the Ryzen 7 5700G.

An engineering sample of what is presumed to be the AMD Ryzen 7 5750G or the Ryzen 7 5700G Cezanne APU with 8 Zen 3 cores has leaked out along with its first performance results. The AMD Ryzen 5000G lineup will be part of the Cezanne APU lineup which is launching next week on the laptop segment and later coming to the desktop platform.

The engineering sample was leaked by Chinese tech outlet Weixin (via HXL) where a leaker posted the pictures and benchmarks of the APU. It is not known for sure if this is the Ryzen 7 5750G or the 5700G but it looks like the chip is fully functional. The codename for the chip is

The first die block diagram of AMD s Ryzen 5000 Cezanne CPUs based on the Zen 3 architecture has been leaked by Videocardz. The block diagram shows that AMD s Ryzen 5000 Cezanne APUs will be sporting some major design changes and are not just a general refresh of the existing 3rd Gen Ryzen 4000 Renoir APUs.

AMD s Ryzen 5000 Cezanne CPUs will be based on the Zen 3 core architecture which brings huge gains in IPC and efficiency. It is based on an optimized TSMC 7nm process node but the key Zen 3 changes have mainly been the restructuring of the cache design along with integral core upgrades.
AMD latest range of APUs for laptops looks set to be unveiled at AMD s CES keynote event next week, during the CES 2021. We have already heard a lot of rumours about the Zen 3 core packing Cezanne APUs, and they should provide a worthwhile boost to laptops that are based upon them – though the GPU cores aren t expected to be much of an upgrade vs Renoir APUs. Also, confusingly many sources expect AMD to introduce some Ryzen 5000 mobile APUs which still rely on Zen 2 CPU cores – these are codenamed Lucienne parts.
