Steve Sisolak’s administration released a detailed playbook directing that shots go first to those who need them most. As state and local agencies work feverishly to vaccinate Nevadans, however, it turns out that no one is actually monitoring whether that same playbook is being followed.

Novel Coronavirus In Nevada: Tuesday, January 19, 2021 6:50 p.m. | January 19, 2021 One In Five People Getting Tested For COVID Are Testing Positive In Nevada The test positivity rate in Nevada continues to be high. The rate has been hovering at around 20% since early December. This means, about one in five people getting tested are testing positive. In Nevada, on average, there have been over 1,600 new daily cases over the last two weeks, along with 18 deaths daily during the same time period.  The Washoe County Health District reported one additional COVID-19-related death on Tuesday, bringing the total to 568 since March. The county also reported 235 additional cases.
