Pierre, SD, USA / DRGNews Jul 26, 2021 | 10:10 PM BRANDON – Down 6-1, the Renner Royals rallied to beat Post 8 7-6 Monday at Aspen Park to advance to the championship round of the Class A State Legion Baseball Tournament and eliminate Post 8. Post 8 held a five-run lead through four and a half innings before Renner tied the game with five runs in the fifth on two hits, three walks and two errors.  Then, Renner scored the go-ahead run in the sixth on another Post 8 error. Elliot Leif hit a two-run single for Post 8.  Jayden Wiebe was three-for-three.  Post 8, who had won three straight elimination games before Monday’s loss, ends the season at 26-19.
