ISLAMABAD: The national women’s ‘A’ team finished off their tour of the West Indies with a 100 per cent win record when they defeated their West Indian counterparts by seven wickets in the third and final one-day at the Coolidge Cricket Ground in St John’s, Antigua on Friday. This was their sixth straight win on the tour and, as such, they completed 3-0 50-over series sweep after winning all three T20s earlier in the tour. Aliya Riaz’s half-century helped the tourists overhaul the 205-run target in 42.2 overs. She smashed unbeaten 63 off 78 and her knock was studded with eight fours. Her innings included an unbeaten 89-run partnership with captain Sidra Nawaz, who returned undefeated on 28 off 43, hitting two fours.

LAHORE: Pakistan women’s A team finished off their tour of the West Indies with a 100 percent win record when they defeated their West Indian counterparts by seven wickets in the third and final one-dayer at the Coolidge Cricket Ground on Friday.
This was their sixth straight win. They completed a 3-0 50-overs series sweep after winning all three T20s earlier in the tour.
NORTH SOUND (Antigua): Captain Stafanie Taylor excelled with a superb all-round performance as West Indies women completed a 3-0 Twenty20 International whitewash of visiting Pakistan side by sealing a six-wicket victory in the third and final fixture at the Sir Vivian Richards Stadium in North Sound on Sunday.
After bowling out Pakistan for 102 in 19.4 overs, West Indies reached 106-4 in 19.1 overs with Taylor contributing 43 off 41 balls (four boundaries) while sharing an unbroken partnership of 48 with Kycia Knight (24 off 27).
Seamer Diana Baig led a spirited Pakistan comeback at the start of the West Indies innings by holding fine catch off spinner Anam Amin to dismiss Hayley Matthews and taking a brilliant catch off her bowling to get rid of Deandra Dottin before having Kyshona Knight caught behind by Sidra Nawaz on the very next ball as the hosts stuttered to 17-3.

LAHORE: An impressive bowling performance followed by Ayesha Zafar’s unbeaten 53 set an eight-wicket win for Pakistan Women ‘A’ in the third and final T20 against West Indies Women ‘A’ at the Sir Vivian Richards Stadium on Sunday. With the victory, the national women’s ‘A’ team won the three-match series 3-0. Pakistan chased down 100 with ease and comfort with eight balls to spare as right-handed opener Ayesha struck three fours and a six from 57 balls. She also become the highest run-getter of the series with 93 runs from three matches. Pakistan bowlers, once again, bowled with discipline after Rameen Shamim elected to bowl. They bowled a total of 61 dots, with pacer Maham Tariq delivering the most – 18. Maham gave Pakistan their first breakthrough in the fifth over with the wicket of Rashada Williams, who was caught at cover.

Two Jamaican players - Chinelle Henry and Chedean Nation - collapsed and was taken to hospital during the second game of the three-match T20I series between West Indies Women and Pakistan Women at the Coolidge Cricket Ground in Antigua on Friday.
Both incidents occurred during Pakistan s chase, which was also affected by weather interruptions. Chinelle Henry and Chedean Nation were taken to hospital for medical attention, said Cricket West Indies in a statement. Both Henry and Nation are conscious and stable at hospital and are being assessed.
