The European Council gave the final green light to the recast of the Energy Performance of Buildings Directive, which aims to decarbonize the building stock to meet the EU climate ta.
The EU Council formally adopted on 12 April a revised directive on the energy performance of buildings. The directive will help reduce greenhouse gas emissions and energy poverty in the EU.
Renewable Carbon Initiative (RCI) has urged policy makers to develop an appropriate regulatory framework to promote the use of renewable carbon feedstocks beyond fuels and including measures at feedstock/polymer level.
