nope. hillary is the kind who just gets up every day and she keeps on fighting. let s go to sara murray in st. augustine, florida, at that trump event. we heard from hillary clinton and senator warren. do you think trump will respond to that? reporter: well, we will certainly wait and see, brooke. you know, i know his advisers want him to talk about what he would do if he was elected, talking more about drain the swamp, get rid of everyone in washington, and what he would do, renegotiating trade deals, increasing military spending. i think the question right now is what he can do in the last two weeks between now and election day to turn around this tide of polls that show him slipping. and their strategy seems to essentially be to hustle as much as possible in battleground states. he s holding two roundtables in florida as well as two rallies. they want him to hammer home this message that she s a change candidate.
renegotiating trade deals. and get fruits of this work are now emerging. those once serious tv networks, our trade policy doesn t merit asad much air time as porn star. but our trade relationship with the rest of the world has lasting impact on the lives of most americans and their families. trump has been pretty wiley onn trade, he has made provocative and bold moves. he talked tough, threatened terrorists, at every turn the globalists predicted total disaster. the u.s. president is going to impose tariffs on steel and aluminuman imports, this is my word for i might start a trade war. there are real consequences. this is a toxic mix we are in right now.ia if the president pushes ahead

it s not how barack obama did it, but it is possible they re going to get to the finish line without them being able to pass this. it is very possible, and officials on capitol hill acknowledge that tonight, so the strategy right now is it s all hands on deck. i am told they are working the phones. everyone from leaders to aides to committee chairs to officials at the white house trying to swap some of those no votes to yes, but it s going to be a tough sell because some of those lawmakers say they want to see big changes. they re still not satisfied despite the fact that gop lawmakers did make some changes last night to the legislation, so what happens if this fails? i ve been putting that question to the white house and to lawmakers on capitol hill throughout the day. well, the reality is it s going to jeopardize some of the president s other key agenda items, things like tax reform as well as renegotiating trade deals like nafta. last night president trump was in kentucky talking
roughly 28 bucks a month. right. so carol this is classic republican position that unions states where unions are active make it tougher for businesses to come into these states, and operate. obviously democrats would disagree with that position. but really what this highlights is that their underlying market forces at work here that donald trump is not addressing with this carrier deal. and unions maybe are a part of that but it s also taxes, and so part of the carrier deal was donald trump and mike pence approached carrier and assured them that they would be putting forth tax reform in this administration to make the climate easier for carrier to stay in the united states and that donald trump has promised renegotiating trade deals to make them more advantageous for american companies, and companies to stay in the united states. but, that is work yet to be done. i think what chuck jones is really highlighting is okay, he saved some jobs here, in indiana with this deal.
