Renee A. Gratis was named the committeeâs new chairwoman during its remote Zoom meeting on Monday, June 7. Ms. Gratis takes over for Mary Jane Mastrangelo who was recently elected to the Bourne Board of Selectmen. Ms. Mastrangelo had to give up her seat on the finance committee due to her election as a selectman.
Ms. Gratis had been serving as co-vice-chairwoman of the finance committee, along with her colleague on the committee, Amanda Bongiovanni. During Monday s meeting, Ms. Bongiovanni was elected to continue as vice-chairwoman. The committee voted in favor of having one person serve in that position instead of two.
