Jesse Baird and his partner Luke Davies' bodies have now been found as police say the corpses had been partly hidden under rocks and debris in Bungonia, four hours from Sydney
Alleged killer cop Beau Lamarre-Condon is said to have gone in for an operation on his stomach last Tuesday, 24 hours after Jesse Baird, 26, and Luke Davies, 29, were allegedly killed.
Police announced on Tuesday they were very confident they had located the bodies of Mr Baird, 26, and Mr Davies, 29, at a property in Bungonia, about 180km south of Sydney.
Detectives are set to hold a significant new press conference on Tuesday afternoon to confirm the discovery, but media have been told the families of the two men have been informed.
The discovery ends an almost week-long high-profile search for the remains of entertainment journalist Jesse Baird, 26, and Qantas flight attendant Luke Davies, 29.
