Mumbai: As many cities in Maharashtra continued to struggle with the shortage of Remdesivir, the state government asked companies to ramp up the production of the anti-viral drug. The government has also asked the companies to reduce the MRPs of the drug to Rs 1200-1300. Companies manufacturing anti-viral drug Remdesivir should double the production and decrease its MRPs to Rs 1200- Rs1300, Rajesh Tope, Maharashtra Minister was quoted as saying by news agency ANI.
