BioWare has fulfilled the wants and needs of fans and gamers after rumors and speculations have surrounded a remastered edition of their hit game, Mass Effect, who would be getting a Legendary Edition release. The game s trilogy has already concluded last 2012 with Mass Effect 3 with its last consoles being the PlayStation 3 and the Xbox 360.

The PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5, along with Xbox One and Xbox Series S and X can play the old versions of the game via backward compatibility, it would still suffer from the change of resolution as it is not HDR yet. Moreover, next-generation gaming has already transitioned to 2160x1440p resolution, which is also known as the current standard 4K.
