March is Women's History Month, and 8News is honoring Remarkable Women in Central Virginia, including one Petersburg native who has devoted her life to help others find their purpose.
Woman who rescues young girls from sex trafficking named the 2024 Remarkable Women Winner. Chris Ziebach founded Camille Place after a series of nightmares about family members being trafficked. The safe haven in Alabama was named after a young missionary, who was killed in a car accident before she could live out her dream of setting up a place for trafficking victims. Camille Place is the only one of its kind in the U.S. It's in an undisclosed location in the Monroeville area.
