Bill Bailey Announces 2021 Australian Tour
Following a thumbs-up from immigration, Bill Bailey returns to Australia with his brand new show En Route To Normal starting in Toowoomba on October 23 and taking him around the country for 16 shows. Bill performed this show with rave reviews and sold out theatres in New Zealand earlier this year while he was there filming his new television series Patriot Brains currently airing on SBS.

He could see them moving and hear them calling out from inside their eggs, he recalls. But it s not just food and wildlife that’s got Bailey excited to be in New Zealand. From his hotel room in a managed isolation facility in Auckland, he s full of praise for the government and its management of the Covid-19 pandemic, which meant his regular biannual visit was pushed out by only a few months rather than the two years he anticipated. Back home in the United Kingdom, the live industry has been “decimated,” but ever the optimist, Bailey has found some silver linings.

This will be Bill s first live presenting job!
Bill Bailey has announced that he will be making his TV presenting debut this week, which will be the first time he’s ever presented a live programme before.
The Strictly Come Dancing winner will be covering for Steph McGovern on her Channel 4 daytime show Steph’s Packed Lunch. Steph is currently self-isolating in accordance with government guidelines.
Bill’s presenting debut was shared via the Steph’s Packed Lunch Twitter account, where they wrote, “Strap yourselves in, guys. Hosting tomorrow’s #PackedLunchC4 is the one and only Bill Bailey! Bez from the Happy Mondays will be one of his guests. A marriage made in heaven? Find out Friday 12:30pm C4!”
