This aid comes within the framework of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia's historic role in standing with the brotherly Palestinian people in the various crises they are going through.

The Advisor to the Royal Court and General Supervisor of the King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center (KSRelief), Dr. Abdullah bin Abdulaziz Al-Rabeeah, signed on Thursday four cooperation agreements to provide relief to the Palestinian people in the Gaza Strip, with a total value of SAR 150 million. The agreements were signed with the United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees in the Near East (UNRWA), the World Health Organization (WHO), the International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC) and the World Food Program (WFP).

A total of 326 trucks as part of Saudi aid convoys will gradually move to the Rafah border in Egypt and then to the Gaza Strip. Dr. Abdullah Al-Rabeeah, adviser to the Royal Court and supervisor general of the King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center (KSrelief), was in Egypt on Wednesday to launch the aid through the Rafah crossing for delivery to Palestinians in the Gaza Strip. He inspected warehouses, examined the operation of the Saudi aid trucks and oversaw cooperation with the authorities responsible for delivering the aid to the enclave.
