Crews will begin construction of the Sarah M. Moore Memorial River Nook in Pullman on Wednesday.
The River Nook is a memorial to Sarah Moore and will consist of an elevated viewing deck with seating overlooking the river by Neill Public Library.
Moore was a long-time volunteer and board member of the Friends of Neill Public Library.
This project is funded entirely through private donations from Moore’s family and friends, including Reliant Engineering who donated more than 50% of its engineering costs.
Construction is expected to finish in mid-October.
