In one incident, the tenants said they were cooking dinner after arriving home late, and Toh accused them of banging something. In the second incident Toh knocked on the door around 10pm and said she could hear children’s voices, and thought other people were living in the property. Singh Guman and Kaur also said Toh had discriminated against them, by stating that Indians were not trustworthy and that they took rental properties and would sublet them to other people, and would have 10 people in one house. The tenants also claimed Toh told them a lot of her property had gone missing since they moved in, suggesting they may be responsible.
