APPLETON, WI (WTAQ-WLUK) â It took 15 minutes for the first 1,000 appointments for the Fox Valleyâs newest COVID-19Â vaccination clinic to fill up.
Health leaders say those who signed up will receive phone calls from the Fox Cities COVID-19 Vaccination Clinic on Friday or Saturday to confirm.
They also say a configuration error in the registration system led to an extra 4,700 appointments mistakenly being made available before registration closed. People who signed up for those appointments will be contacted by email to set up new times beginning the week of Feb. 8.
The Fox Cities COVID-19 Vaccination Clinic opens Tuesday at the Fox Cities Exhibition Center in downtown Appleton. Testing which had been available there will move to Reid Golf Course on Monday.
