Officials at Brainerd Public Schools and Reichert Bus Co. are working to combat the issue with hiring bonuses for new drivers and the consolidation of routes.
Joyce Kathleen (Reichert) Moran, 83, of Brainerd, passed away Tuesday, June 7, 2022, at Essentia Health – St. Joseph’s Medical Center. She was surrounded by family.
The transit system serves the cities of Brainerd, Baxter, Pequot Lakes, Breezy Point, Crosby, Ironton and Deerwood, plus communities along the state highway corridors leading to those locations. The Cass County city of Pine River also offers service as part of the system.
