The Rehoboth Beach Film Society’s Cinema Art Theater will present “M.C. Escher: Journey To Infinity” and “Minari” starting Friday, Feb. 12.
The Escher documentary examines the methods and interests of the world-famous Dutch printmaker and visionary graphic artist.
Equal parts history, psychology, and psychedelia, director Robin Lutz’s entertaining, eye-opening portrait of Maurits Cornelis Escher (1898-1972) shows viewers the man through his own words and images. Starting Friday, Jan. 29, the Rehoboth Beach Film Society’s Cinema Art Theater will present three new films.
“Malcolm & Marie” is a captivating drama that pushes a couple toward a romantic reckoning.
A filmmaker, played by John David Washington, returns home with his girlfriend, played by Zendaya, following a celebratory movie premiere. He awaits what’s sure to be imminent critical and financial success. The evening suddenly takes a turn as revelations about their relationship begin to surface, testing the strength of their love.

The Rehoboth Beach Film Society’s Cinema Art Theater is offering virtual cinema access to “Identifying Features” a compelling drama about a woman who tries to learn her son s whereabouts after he leaves Mexico to find work in the United States.
Middle-aged Magdalena, played by Mercedes Hernandez, has lost contact with her son after he took off with a friend from their town of Guanajuato to cross the border into the United States. Desperate to find out what happened to him – and to know whether or not he’s even alive – she embarks on an ever-expanding and increasingly dangerous journey to discover the truth. At the same time, a young man named Miguel, played by David Illescas, has returned to Mexico after being deported from the U.S., and eventually his path converges with Magdalena’s.
