The position open is the District 1 Council position and the unexpired term will be until the Regular Municipal Election in November 2025. Candidate filing for the Election begins Monday, June 10, 2024, and ends on Wednesday, July 10, 2024, at 5:00 p.m. All eligible voters in Sherman will vote for the District 1 City Council position on the ballot. Any citizen considering making an application for candidacy must live in District 1.
