Size: Petit Robusto
The Look: While the other sizes in the Regius Black Label line come in 25 count boxes, the Petit Robusto is packaged in boxes of 10. Inside the beautiful oily wrapper is adorned with a black, gold and red band denoting the brand name and the latin words Arbiter Elegantiae which means Judge of Elegance or Taste. The cigar is firm to the touch with a well packed foot that features some darker tobaccos in the filler.
The Notes: Once the cigar is clipped the cold draw has a rich sweetness and a strong fig note. To me the cigar actually tastes like a Fig Newton before lighting it up. The aroma off the foot has a port wine like bouquet which has me intrigued to smoke this cigar. Once the cigar is lit the initial notes are ginger spice and freshly baked bread.
