Jefferson County drops to safer yellow range of daily COVID-19 cases

JEFFERSON COUNTY, Mo. Jefferson County s number of COVID-19 cases decreased this week, dipping the county into the yellow status for the first time in six weeks.
It marks just the second time in 2021 the county has been in the yellow, with the week of Feb. 28 being the first.
The epidemiological report, released Wednesday, shows the rolling 7-day average of cases per day per 100,000 residents at 7.49, under the 10-case threshold for orange status.

(Douglas County, NE) The Douglas County Health Department has announced the times and locations for COVID-19 vaccination clinics.
DCHD says along with community partners, they will host four community clinics beginning in February in an effort to provide Douglas County residents 80 years of age and older with the COVID-19 vaccine. The health department says the four sites are being coordinated by DCHD in partnership with Nebraska Medicine, CHI Health, Creighton University and Methodist Health System.
The locations and times for the clinics are:
Christ Community Church at 404 South 108th Street on Tuesdays and Wednesdays. The clinics will provide vaccine from 9 a.m. until 5 p.m. both days until further notice. This begins February 2nd.
Covid Vaccine Takes A Day Off
Covid vaccines are an absolute must, unless it’s a federal holiday. Then, major vaccine sites are closed.

According to the Tennessee Department of Health, all county health departments in the Northeast Region will be closed for the holiday.
The Regional COVID-19 Vaccination Registration Line will not be staffed on Monday, Jan. 18th. Community members in Phase 1a, 1b or age 75+ can still register for COVID-19 vaccine online if they have not already registered.
i don t understand, what it looks like in some ways, sandra, it is a registration line for democrat voters. the democrats have been silent about this. why? do they not care about the border of our country? do they not care and have any interest in sorting out who is really coming here under the guise of asylum and who is coming here because they feel like they can because nobody can stop them because they re too great in numbers. if we can t stop an invasion of several thousand people who feel they have a right to break into our homes and come in and say we re going to do whatever we want, then we aren t a very strong country anymore. sandra: the president spent a lot of time talking about this last night. is this and will this be a winning issue for republicans a couple weeks from now? i hate to use it in those terms. but in crass political language yes, it will be.
