State revenues up to €12 9bn, 17 9% increase in spending

State budget runs €87m deficit in Q1

First quarter revenue increased by 2.3%, but was outpaced by central government’s expenses, resulting in a net deficit of €87m, as reported by the minister of finance Yuriko Backes (DP).
