The Independent National Electoral Commission in Enugu State has taken delivery of sensitive materials from the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) ahead of Saturday’s re-run elections in some parts of the state. The state Resident Electoral Commissioner (REC), Dr Chukwuemeka Chukwu, disclosed this in an interview with journalists in his office on Thursday evening. Chukwu explained that the commission was fully prepared for a hitch-free exercise on Saturday, adding that INEC had taken possession and secured the delivery of the sensitive materials.
