The previous owner of the Regis Motel on East Colfax Avenue has surrendered his lodging license a month after Denver officials suspended it amid rampant criminal activity at the establishment.
The Denver Department of Excise and Licenses said the Regis Motel had become a den for prostitution, drug sales, illegal weapons, burglaries and a fatal shooting.
