Several social media posts claim that the Philippines issued an arrest warrant for Microsoft co-founder Bill Gates in connection with deaths from Covid-19 vaccines. This claim is false. The Supreme Court of the Philippines told AFP Fact Check that no such arrest warrant has been issued for Gates. The posts also link.
In the Philippines, only Congress proceedings are allowed to be aired or recorded by the press. Reporters may seek permission to attend court proceedings, but they are essentially barred from recording or documenting them using gadgets. Reporters may have access to stenographic notes although this may take time.
