53 barangays drug-free, 157 cleared in Negros Oriental: PDEA

PDEA-Negros Oriental provincial director Elmer Ebona told the Philippine News Agency that of the total, 53 barangays fall under the "drug-free" classification while the 157 others are "drug-cleared". "This is based on consolidated data from both the PDEA and the Negros Oriental Police Provincial Office (NOPPO) as of Dec. 31, 2022, and this is a positive accomplishment over the past two years considering the challenges we faced during the Covid-19 pandemic with many restrictions," Ebona said.
