STATEN ISLAND, N.Y. To marks its centennial year, Staten Island University Hospital hosted two celebratory events at their Prince’s Bay Campus: The observance of their 100th anniversary and the ceremonial ribbon cutting of the new Emergency Children’s Help Organization (E.C.H.O.) Pediatric Emergency Unit.
Regional Councils : Fully Operational Soon
Everything is becoming clearer after the election of the bureaus of the 10 Regional Councils.

The bureaus of the Regional Councils were elected on December 22, 2020 in compliance with Section 307 of Law No. 2019/024 of 24 December 2019 to Institute the General Code of Regional and Local Authorities which provides that, “During its maiden session, the Regional Council shall elect from among its members a President assisted by a bureau comprising a senior Vice President, a vice president, two questors and two secretaries.” However, there are specificities for the North West and South West Regions that each enjoys a special status. Decree No. 2020/773 of December 24, 2020, is in keeping with Chapter III of Law no. 2019/24 of December 24, 2019, to Institute the General Code of Regional and Local Authorities.
The Law
Section 367 (1) A public independent conciliator is hereby established in the special status of the North-West and South West Regions.
(2) As an independent regional authority, the Public Independent Conciliator shall be a highly experienced personality with reputed integrity and proven objectivity,
