Free, all inclusive dance sessions will be held for Isaac residents enjoying their golden years.
The Move Makers series of dance sessions for those aged over 55 is set to take stage in Moranbah, Clermont and Dysart from Thursday.
GOLD Moves Australia’s Gail Hewton and Julie Chenery are facilitating the series for those with and without mobility issues, as well as dance or allied health professionals interested in leading dance sessions for older people.
Isaac Regional Council Mayor Anne Baker said the aim of the program was about being fun, social and beneficial for physical health, brain stimulation and overall well being.

Business leader and Eagle Boys founder Tom Potter will be the key speaker at The Networking Evening with Tom Potter in Moranbah and Clermont in May. Mr Potter left school at 15 and found himself jobless at 23. He opened his first pizza shop in Albury, New South Wales in 1987 and proceeded to build his business to become Australia and New Zealand s largest privately owned pizza company. Fast forward 34 years later and he is still here, and part of the reason is his most valuable lesson- to continuously evolve .

Isaac Regional Council Mayor Anne Baker said the reservoir is a key component in the broader plan to significantly improve Clermont’s water supply.
“In relatively dry inland areas like much of the Isaac, with limited natural water assets, meeting the water needs of our towns – and Clermont in particular – has traditionally been a challenge,” Mayor Baker said.

The Chip N Check program is now open to residents for eligible dog owners who live in Carmila, Clairview, Flaggy Rock, St Lawrence, Notch Point, Greenhill and Ilbilbie areas.
The program is part of the Paws-itive Blueprint for Responsible Dog Ownership to help educate dog owners in meeting their obligations.

Isaac Regional Council Mayor Anne Baker said the events would recognise the contributions of women whose contribution make Isaac communities a better place to live, work and play.
